Take Your Marriage From Meh to Mwah!

This is my gentle reminder to you.
Take 100% responsibility for your marriage.

Stop waiting and step into your power.
Take your marriage from Meh to Mwah!

Consider that your marriage is not a 50-50 agreement.

What if you showed up as 100%?
Taking complete responsibility for your relationship?

Step back and take a look from this new view point.

If your marriage is anything less than wonderful – and even if it is wonderful.

You created this.

Don’t don’t don’t beat yourself up or blame yourself in any way.

Of course, you did the best you could and made all the best decisions you could make to have gotten yourself here now and have created this very situation.
It’s perfect.
You’re perfect.

In fact, regardless of how your marriage is showing up for you right now – celebrate.

Remind yourself that you are exactly where you should be right now at this very moment.

Thinking about your marriage and your choice of partner, try on the following options:

Blame your partner for what is.
Fault your partner for how they show up and for what they do.
This is usually accompanied by resentment, anger and frustration.
Does not feel good.
Lots of wheel spinning here.
Why?

Because you can’t change someone else – ever. No matter how much you threaten or convince them to change.

They are on their own journey of awakening, exploring and evolving.

Accept what is.
This is a great place to start.
Open your eyes and heart to what is.
No lying or denying.
You know.
This is what it is.
Accept and allow what is.

Once you have the truth of the matter, you can do something about it.

Take 100% responsibility for all of it.
Especially for you and YOUR thoughts & actions.
Get out of your partner’s lane.
Stop waiting for them to do or be anything other than who they are.

4. Reach out to a sister. Call her once a week – or every day. Ask how she is and what she is feeling. Give her the space to release her feelings without any judgment or fixing.
5. Treat yourself to pleasure. Dance. Take a nap. Sing out loud. Read a novel. Soak in the tub. Do anything you want – just for the pleasure of it.

With all my love.
From my heart to yours.
